Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYUnder the regular supervision of the Central Sterile Supervisor, orders, receives, checks and stores medical supplies. Decontaminates and cleans reusable items and medical equipment according to Department procedures. Examines sterilized supplies for damage and expiration. Packages supplies for sterilization. May lead the work of less experienced technicians in the absence of the supervisor.Principal Duties:1. Retrieves, cleans, and decontaminates instruments, medical equipment, and supplies.2.
