First Assist Program Specialist
Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Responsible for oversight of all first and second assist activity for Shore Health System employees. Collaborates with the surgeon and other members of the health care team to provide educational opportunities for staff functioning in this capacity. Works to maximize the potential of the first and second assist while conforming to the guidelines established by AORN and NBSTSA (professional organizations for operating room nurses and surgical technologists) and SHS Policy.
