Atlantic Health System, one of the largest non-profit healthcare networks in New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Faculty Physician to join our dynamic and growing team at Overlook Medical Center. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine teaching and patient care within an academic setting. As an Internal Medicine Faculty Physician, you will provide direct patient care in conjunction with residents. You will also be responsible for supervising and evaluating residents' clinical skills, as well as participating in the development of the residency program curriculum. There is flexibility to work in the clinical setting (hospitalist, ambulatory clinician, perioperative medicine) that best suits a strong candidate, as well as protected time to pursue academic endeavors within the residency and student program. The schedule includes shared weekend call (6-8 times per year) and from-home call during the week (residents will call, once a month), ensuring that work-life balance is attainable. Dedication to patient-centered care and improving outcomes, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education, are essential qualities we seek in candidates.

• Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine (ABIM-FPHM)
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• At least 2 years of clinical experience is required
• Previous mentor experience preferred
• Must have a broad knowledge in Internal Medicine
• Must be committed to patient centered care and to the training of residents
• Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team
