The Supervisory Medical Supply Technician- Assistant Chief is responsible for assisting the Chief of Sterile Processing Services in oversight of all operational and administrative activities of the service. The Assistant Chief is to ensure that reusable medical equipment (RME) is properly cleaned, processed and packaged as appropriate for use by clinical personnel throughout all clinical and surgery areas of the Ambulatory Care Center utilizing RME.
