NURSING MANAGER – Ambulatory Operation/Quality

You’re more than a manager; You’re a mentor

You’re good at leading your team. That’s a given. But you also have the ability to mentor an employee, so they learn and grow. You’re a clinical role model with interest in quality improvement and population health; who will effectively drive a ‘can-do’ culture that promotes respect, openness, participation, and teamwork, to improve patient experience, operational processes, and better patient outcomes.

Collaborating with senior administration and multidisciplinary teams, you will lead and direct the full scope of nursing and quality management activities to continuously improve service delivery and overall quality of care to our diverse community.

 As a leader and change agent, you will:

  • Help develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans and policies to improve quality throughout the ambulatory network of sites
  • Hire, train, educate and evaluate nursing staff to ensure the continuum of quality care
  • Work with IT and EMR teams to organize, design, and present data analysis reports on quality and patient safety initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and hospital quality standards and policies

 

The qualified professional has:

  • Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years’ clinical RN experience in an ambulatory care setting
  • NYS RN license and BCLS certification
  • Strong knowledge and experience with PCMH, DSRIP, Meaningful Use and HEDIS programs
