Physician (Gastroenterology) – Franciscan Physician Network – Lafayette, Indiana

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology physician to meet the growing demand for gastroenterology in Lafayette, IN.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate would have ERCP and Endoscopic US experience, a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. Physician will need to work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Physician takes own weekday call: 7 days per month
Weekend Call: 1 Weekend per month
Holiday: 1:3
Average patient volumes
- 10 – 12 in office
- 7 in surgery center
Support staff of RN’s & MA’s
Common Diagnoses:
- IBS
- Hemorrhoids
- Re-flux/ Gerd
- Gallbladder
- Abdominal Pain
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Crohns Disease
On Site Equipment:
- Olympus-190 Series Video system with 190 High Def endoscopes, light sources CF-190L, PCF-190L, GIF-190 & GIF XP190N (slim pedi scope)
- TJF (ERCP) Q180V endoscopes
- Flushing pump
- CO2 insufflation
- Cautery unit with Argon
- Bravo Capsules
- PillCam Endoscopy
- ProVationMD for endoscopic procedure reports
- 2 GI Endoscopy Rooms
- 1 Bronchoscopy room
