An exciting opportunity exists to join a highly successful, well established, progressive outpatient endoscopy center. The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the clinical and business operations of our endoscopy center consisting of 6 procedure rooms. Provides overall leadership, management and strategic planning to our clinical services, programs and staff that comprise the endoscopy center, with an emphasis on clinical operations This position is responsible for clinical personnel management, which includes recruitment, selection, training, supervision and retention, in addition to overseeing the daily operational processes. Involves ensuring adherence to Endoscopy Center policies, procedures and safety programs; serving as a liaison between the Endoscopy Center, physician offices and the community and assisting with the development and monitoring of the standards of endoscopy care. This position will also help in determining and meeting the centers goals.

A successful candidate will meet the following minimum qualifications: - Current PA state license as a Registered Nurse, BSN preferred. -Minimum three (3) years’ experience in managerial role, preferably in an ambulatory endoscopy/surgery center or endoscopy department in an acute care hospital. -Knowledge of current nursing standards of care and practice and applicable laws and regulatory requirements - Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and patient needs. - Up to date on current regulations and policies affecting employees and healthcare. - Must also have a thorough understanding of healthcare-related electronic documentation/systems, nursing skills/techniques and relative medical equipment. - Expertise in human resources/management is also essential to success in this role. - Demonstrates ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct the activities of clinical personnel and projects, as well as to influence and manage change -Must possess the following skills: business and analytical skills, including financial planning and assessment; leadership, team-building and consensus-building skills; exemplary organizational skills and effective communication skills with all levels of staff and patients; system conceptualization and implementation skills a must - Actively coaches and engages all staff and management while modeling expected behaviors and holding staff accountable. Manages centers performance to improve quality of direct patient care and improve patient, employee and provider satisfaction.
