Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. (OSUP) / OSU Internal Medicine, LLC, a multi-specialty physician group affiliated with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) is seeking a Nurse Manager for its Ambulatory Endoscopy Center located in Dublin, Ohio.
The Nurse Manager is a working management position responsible for the direction and supervision of daily clinical care activities in the ambulatory endoscopy center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing staffing schedules and daily assignments to provide optimal patient care; identifying learning needs of staff and facilitating performance-based educational opportunities; performance management; interviewing and participating in the hiring of nursing personnel; carrying out orientation of new staff members; schedule management, template management, and IHIS; assisting the Administrator with the development of protocols and policies governing infection control, quality management and improvement, and sedation; and, as needed, providing skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a professional medical doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, and providing a variety of related services to maintain a safe, patient care environment.

To be considered, applicants must be a graduate of an approved program of nursing; have baccalaureate degree in nursing or equivalent education and experience; have a valid license to practice as a registered nurse in Ohio; have prior experience in an ambulatory endoscopy setting; have current BLS and ACLS certifications; demonstrate leadership ability and clinical competence in nursing care in an ambulatory endoscopy setting; and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication and continuing professional self-development. American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses (ABCGN) certification preferred.
